Admin & IT Executive - Software House Experience

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Lahore, working onsite at our Tajpura office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support and system administration, with hands-on experience in managing hardware and software for both new and existing employees. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain IT assets, ensure security protocols, and support the team with technical troubleshooting and onboarding processes. A good understanding of modern IT tools, including AI applications and basic SEO knowledge, will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software for new hires and current staff.
- Set up and support onboarding processes related to employee hardware and software needs.
- Conduct regular audits of hardware and software assigned to employees to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Maintain all hardware in optimal working condition, including troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Manage and update the computer hardware inventory, researching market options to secure the best prices and deals.
- Securely handle team credentials and manage authentication methods, including two-factor authentication and authenticator apps.
- Provide support for virtual machines, Windows 11 and later installations, and malware protection and removal.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment such as routers, switches, Wi-Fi, LAN, VPNs, and related settings including port forwarding and Wi-Fi coverage planning.
- Set up and maintain IP cameras and manage desktop and screen recording tools.
- Conduct website and network speed testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize AI tools effectively in daily tasks to improve efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and patiently with non-technical staff to resolve issues and provide guidance.
- Maintain thorough documentation and organization of IT processes and inventory.
- Uphold integrity and confidentiality regarding passwords and sensitive company data.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Proven ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Experience in onboarding new employees with hardware and software setup.
- Strong knowledge of credential management and online account authentication methods.
- Proficiency in using AI tools as part of daily work activities.
- Presence in Lahore with the ability to work onsite at the Tajpura office.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Basic understanding of SEO principles is highly desirable.
- Experience with IoT devices is considered a plus.
- Skills in virtual machine handling, malware protection, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hardware cabling and Layer 1 networking concepts.
- Competence in router configuration, VPN setup, and Wi-Fi planning.
- Ability to conduct website and network speed tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and documentation capabilities.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this position ranges from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000.
