We are seeking a proficient Adobe Commerce Developer to join our dynamic development team in Islamabad. This full-time, on-site contractual position requires a candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development. The role focuses on developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining scalable e-commerce solutions while ensuring high performance and security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 applications, including modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Customize storefront elements such as checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows to meet business requirements.
- Develop and integrate REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs for seamless system communication.
- Integrate Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment gateways, shipping services, and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and application issues promptly to ensure smooth operation.
- Optimize application, database, and cache performance to enhance user experience.
- Adhere to Adobe Commerce coding standards and implement security best practices.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Support deployment processes, release management, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of development tasks and project milestones.
- Stay updated with the latest Adobe Commerce development practices and incorporate relevant improvements.
- Apply knowledge of Flutter and mobile development best practices to enhance development work.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development.
- Strong proficiency in developing and customizing modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience customizing storefront, checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows.
- Skilled in developing and integrating REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Composer, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment, shipping, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in application performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce coding standards and security best practices.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and preparing technical documentation.
- Proficient in supporting deployments, releases, and resolving production issues.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud is highly desirable.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integration using Commerce Integration Framework (CIF) is a plus.
- Adobe Commerce certification will be considered an advantage.
