We are seeking a proficient Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site contractual basis in G-8, Islamabad. This mid-level position requires 2 to 3 years of experience and a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) applications, ensuring the delivery of scalable and reliable e-commerce solutions. A strong technical background in Adobe Commerce development, application performance optimization, and software engineering best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 applications, including modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Customize various components such as storefront, checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows to meet business requirements.
- Develop and integrate REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Integrate Adobe Commerce with ERP systems, payment gateways, shipping services, and other enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and application issues promptly to maintain system stability.
- Optimize application, database, and cache performance to ensure efficient operation.
- Adhere to Adobe Commerce coding standards and implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and prepare technical documentation as needed.
- Support deployment processes, manage releases, and assist in resolving production issues.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Ensure timely completion of development tasks and project milestones.
- Stay current with Adobe Commerce development trends and incorporate relevant improvements.
- Keep updated with Flutter and mobile development best practices and apply them when necessary.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development.
- Proven expertise in developing and customizing modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs within Adobe Commerce.
- Experience customizing storefronts, checkout processes, catalogs, pricing, promotions, and order workflows.
- Skilled in developing and integrating REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Composer, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment, shipping, and other enterprise systems.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize application performance.
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce coding standards and security protocols.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Proficient in supporting deployments, managing releases, and resolving production issues.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Benefits

- Knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud is advantageous.
- Experience with AEM–Adobe Commerce integration using CIF is a plus.
- Adobe Commerce certification will be considered an asset.
