We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer with over four years of hands-on experience to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Adobe Experience Manager and related technologies to develop and enhance scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions. This role involves working onsite and requires expertise in AEM development, Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, commerce API integrations, Dispatcher caching, and performance optimization. The candidate will play a key role in delivering seamless digital experiences by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable AEM sites, components, templates, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
- Build and enhance Product Detail Pages (PDP) and Product Listing Pages (PLP), including dynamic filtering capabilities.
- Create personalized landing pages and campaign experiences within the AEM platform.
- Manage Experience Fragments to enable reusable and omnichannel content delivery.
- Integrate AEM with commerce APIs covering products, pricing, inventory, cart, and related functionalities.
- Implement robust integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop user-friendly authoring components and workflows to support merchandisers and content teams.
- Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching mechanisms, CDN, and cache invalidation processes.
- Optimize AEM applications for performance, scalability, and high-traffic e-commerce environments.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, commerce specialists, API teams, QA, and DevOps to troubleshoot issues and ensure end-to-end delivery of digital experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, Sling Models, and OSGi frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with HTL/Sightly templating language.
- Solid experience working with AEM Sites, Components, Templates, and Experience Fragments.
- Proven track record in developing PDP, PLP, or similar e-commerce experiences.
- Strong skills in integrating AEM with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with commerce integrations involving product, pricing, inventory, or cart functionalities.
- In-depth knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, CDN, and performance optimization techniques.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern development practices.
- Experience in developing scalable, reusable AEM solutions within enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris, Adobe Commerce/Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service deployment model.
- Exposure to Adobe Commerce Integration Framework (CIF).
- Knowledge of headless or hybrid AEM architectures, personalization, and omnichannel content strategies.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Core Web Vitals, SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and web performance optimization.
