Agentic Software Engineer (Cursor) - Remote - India

Key Responsibilities
As an Agentic Software Engineer (Cursor), you will join our talent network and work directly with U.S.-based clients on flexible, project-based assignments. You will integrate seamlessly into client teams, collaborating daily with their designers and engineers. Your role involves leveraging AI-driven development environments to deliver production-quality software, maintaining architectural oversight across complex, multi-file systems. You will design AI-first workflows, translate complex product requirements into AI-friendly specifications, and continuously improve AI-generated outputs through structured iteration and feedback. Additionally, you will apply disciplined human-in-the-loop review practices, especially for high-impact or safety-critical processes, while working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure stacks in AI-accelerated environments.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong understanding of full-stack architectures such as Java, Python, C#, React, and Node.js.
- 1 to 3 years of experience using Cursor as a primary development environment to coordinate AI-driven implementation.
- Proven track record of delivering production software where AI generates the majority of implementation code.
- Expertise in context engineering, including structuring codebases, specifications, and documentation to produce reliable AI outputs.
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into machine-executable, AI-friendly specifications.
- Experience designing AI-first development workflows from specification through deployment.
- Strong skills in systematically improving AI-generated output via structured iteration and feedback loops.
- Comfort working across multiple technology stacks to deliver high-quality, production-ready systems.
- Experience operating in frontend, backend, and infrastructure roles within AI-accelerated environments.
- Commitment to disciplined human-in-the-loop review practices with risk-adjusted validation.
- Strong curiosity and initiative in adopting emerging AI-native engineering practices.
- Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies and Lean principles, with active participation in team ceremonies and asynchronous work.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
- Positive mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to align with client goals and consistently deliver on commitments.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work full-time in the country of the job posting without visa sponsorship (FullStack does not sponsor work visas).
