Agile Business Analyst – Treasury & Financial Operations

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join its Treasury and Financial Operations team. This role involves leading the functional requirement gathering, story mapping, and Agile backlog grooming specifically for Treasury, Money Market, Forex, and Liquidity Management operations. The successful candidate will translate complex treasury business needs into detailed Agile User Stories and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) for Temenos T24 Treasury modules, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the collection and analysis of functional requirements for Treasury, Money Market, Forex, and Liquidity Management operations.
- Develop detailed Agile User Stories and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) tailored for Temenos T24 Treasury modules, including FX, MM, Securities, and Non-Deliverable (ND) products.
- Define data mapping, message schemas, and workflow logic for integration with State Bank of Pakistan’s RTGS (PRISM) and SWIFT messaging systems.
- Specify General Ledger (GL) posting rules, automated revaluation logic, and end-of-day (EOD) batch processing workflows within T24.
- Conduct impact analysis and GAP assessments related to automated hedging models, interbank placements, and daily liquidity monitoring processes.
- Validate Definition of Ready (DoR) criteria and collaborate closely with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and engineering teams to ensure accurate financial calculations during sprint cycles.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Financial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector, with at least 3 years focused on Treasury operations and Temenos T24 Treasury modules.
- Strong functional expertise in Temenos T24 Treasury, Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), and General Ledger (GL) modules.
- Comprehensive understanding of SBP RTGS (PRISM), SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX formats), and money market clearing protocols.
- Proficiency in Agile Business Analyst methodologies, including Jira user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and technical documentation of FRS.
- Solid knowledge of financial mathematics, yield calculations, interbank deal lifecycles, and treasury risk management parameters.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as Temenos T24 Treasury Certification, ACI Dealing Certificate, or Certified Agile Business Analyst (CABA) are highly desirable.
