Applivity Pvt Limited is looking for a talented AI Agent Developer to lead the development of an AI-powered educational assistant. This role focuses on designing and implementing an intelligent agent that combines proprietary school district curriculum data with large language models (LLMs) to provide personalized, real-time responses via a mobile application. The successful candidate will work closely with educators, data engineers, and mobile developers to create a solution that improves learning outcomes and supports educators’ efficiency. The position is located near Koral Chowk, Express Highway, Islamabad, and is available as either a full-time or contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop the AI agent architecture to integrate proprietary educational content with LLMs such as GPT-4 or similar models. Build secure APIs and data pipelines to access and process both structured and unstructured curriculum data from school districts. Apply prompt engineering and fine-tune LLMs to ensure that outputs align with grade-level standards and district-specific instructional goals. Implement agent memory, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and context management to deliver accurate and personalized user interactions. Collaborate with mobile app developers to ensure seamless integration and real-time communication between the AI backend and the front-end interface. Maintain compliance with student data privacy regulations, including FERPA and COPPA, by establishing safeguards for safe and age-appropriate content generation. Continuously monitor and evaluate agent performance using analytics and user feedback to enhance system effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of four years in software development, with at least two years focused on AI/ML or LLM-integrated applications. Proven experience working with OpenAI APIs or other LLM platforms such as Anthropic’s Claude, Mistral, Google Gemini, or Meta’s LLaMA. Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Haystack, or Semantic Kernel. Strong proficiency in Python programming, REST API development, and building data processing pipelines for both structured and unstructured data. Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS for implementing retrieval-augmented generation. Knowledge of K-12 educational standards and instructional content integration is highly advantageous. Solid understanding of data privacy and security best practices within educational environments. Hands-on experience fine-tuning LLMs or applying prompt engineering to align AI outputs with pedagogical goals and age-appropriate content. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Strong analytical, debugging, and test-driven development skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience integrating mobile backends using technologies such as Firebase or GraphQL is desirable. A background in instructional design or prior collaboration with curriculum development teams will be an advantage. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs200,000 to Rs250,000.
