Key Responsibilities
- Train custom datasets using neural networks and various machine learning techniques to improve model accuracy and performance for targeted applications.
- Develop agentic AI systems by integrating tool usage, task decomposition, and adaptive reasoning strategies.
- Design, implement, and experiment with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance information retrieval and generation capabilities.
- Build and optimize Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions using modern frameworks and libraries.
- Work extensively with large language models (LLMs), both open-source and commercial, incorporating them into scalable products and backend workflows.
- Translate ambiguous startup requirements into functional prototypes and practical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with senior AI leads for strategic direction while independently driving projects with minimal supervision.
- Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, continuously learn new technologies, and creatively troubleshoot challenges in a lean development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of AI and machine learning principles, especially supervised training and fine-tuning of models.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience using tools like HuggingFace or LangChain.
- Familiarity with RAG methodologies, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate), and embedding models.
- Hands-on experience working with open-source LLMs and integrating them into backend systems.
- Demonstrated ability to self-learn, conduct independent research, and solve complex problems without close guidance.
- Prior exposure to agentic AI systems or AI agents is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment characterized by minimal processes and high ownership.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience developing NLP pipelines, chatbots, or knowledge-based assistant systems.
- Familiarity with models such as Mistral, Llama, or DeepSeek.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or personal repositories showcasing AI experiments (e.g., GitHub, Colab).
- Exposure to multi-agent collaboration frameworks, toolformer-like behaviors, or custom fine-tuning approaches.

This is a full-time, in-person role offering a monthly salary range of Rs30,000 to Rs80,000.
