Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, develop, and enhance computer vision and machine learning algorithms and models using frameworks such as Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow.
- Shape product strategy for highly contextualized applied ML/AI solutions by collaborating with customers, solution teams, and participating in discovery workshops and prototyping initiatives.
- Support the growth of a high-impact ML/AI team through recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Act as an evangelist within the broader ML/AI community by engaging in research, speaking engagements, teaching, formal collaborations, and other outreach activities.
- Design and tune integrations of machine learning and computer vision algorithms, including research and prototyping of techniques for object detection and recognition.
- Develop and optimize convolutional neural networks (CNN) for image classification and object detection tasks.
- Work with embedded vision processing systems and open-source tools and platforms.
- Apply statistical modeling, data extraction, and analysis techniques.
- Construct, train, evaluate, and fine-tune neural networks for various applications.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with image and video vision libraries such as OpenCV, Clarifai, or Google Cloud Vision.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Experience developing feature learning, text mining, and prediction models using methods such as deep learning, collaborative filtering, SVM, and random forest.
- Hands-on experience with big data computation platforms including Hadoop, Spark, HIVE, and Tableau.
- Practical exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud.
- 2-5 years of professional or academic experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence, including the creation and application of ML algorithms on large datasets.
- Experience building scalable machine learning systems and data-driven products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of natural language processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, or ranking systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with technologies like Tableau, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, and Kafka is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Generative AI is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Contributions to research communities through publications or presentations at leading conferences such as NIPS, ICML, ACL, or CVPR are a plus.
