AI Implementation Strategist

We are currently seeking a hands-on AI Implementer to join our AI team and lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered workflows that automate manual processes for RepStack and our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain agentic AI systems capable of selecting tools, managing context, and executing complex multi-step tasks. Implement Memory, Context, and Planning (MCP) frameworks or equivalent approaches to manage tools, context, and memory in production environments. Translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, progressing from prototype to pilot and full production. Integrate AI technologies with CRMs, APIs, webhooks, and various data sources such as GoHighLevel, Slack, and Google Workspace. Develop and version prompts, orchestration flows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. Establish evaluation and monitoring processes to detect hallucinations, regressions, latency issues, and cost inefficiencies. Utilize AI daily in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation tasks. Produce clear documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks, enabling non-technical teams to operate AI systems independently. Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, Customer Success Management, and Operations teams to identify and automate high-impact workflows. Stay informed on the latest AI models, tools, and agentic design patterns, applying new knowledge to continuously improve systems.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience building and managing production software or automation systems. Proven hands-on experience with agentic AI systems involving tool selection and multi-step task execution. Familiarity with MCP or similar frameworks for managing tools, context, and memory in AI applications. Strong understanding of AI models, including knowledge of model versions, context window limitations, prompt engineering, and trade-offs between latency, cost, and quality. Experience working with both commercial/hosted and open-source AI models. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, and real-world services. Competence in evaluating AI beyond accuracy, considering factors such as reliability, hallucination risk, traceability, and safety. Awareness of scaling challenges including latency, cost optimization, caching strategies, parallelization, and the differences between RAG and fine-tuning. Track record of successfully taking AI systems from prototype through to production while managing common failure modes. Ability to work autonomously within a small, empowered team. Strong written and verbal English communication skills suitable for client-facing roles in US and Canadian time zones.
