AI Instructor

Located in Faisalabad, this is a 3-month onsite contract opportunity with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position is with Edversity, a division of the Rapidev Group of Companies, which focuses on delivering practical, industry-oriented IT training. Edversity offers physical classes designed to equip young individuals with essential IT skills for employment and freelancing in technology fields. The role available is for an AI Instructor who will teach practical Artificial Intelligence skills, covering topics from Python fundamentals to the development of Generative AI applications. The instructor will be responsible for leading daily classes and labs, helping beginners work on real AI projects to build their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver daily lectures and hands-on lab sessions in line with the approved curriculum. Simplify complex AI concepts into practical, easy-to-understand steps tailored for trainees with no prior AI experience. Prepare lesson plans, presentation slides, notebooks, assignments, and quizzes to support learning. Guide trainees through mini-projects and a final capstone project to reinforce their skills. Track attendance, assess trainee progress, and submit regular reports to the program team. Conduct additional support sessions for trainees requiring extra assistance. Maintain and update course materials with the latest AI tools and recommend improvements when necessary. Advise trainees on portfolio building, managing GitHub profiles, and exploring job or freelancing opportunities. Support assessments, audits, and program reviews as required.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in AI/ML or AI application development. Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, and Scikit-learn is required, along with working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch. Hands-on experience with large language model APIs, LangChain or LlamaIndex, and vector databases is necessary. Experience deploying at least one AI model or application is expected. The ability to clearly explain technical concepts in both English and Urdu is important. Patience and a genuine interest in teaching beginners are key attributes for this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A public GitHub repository or portfolio showcasing AI projects is highly desirable. Certifications such as TensorFlow Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or AWS Machine Learning will be considered an advantage. Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is preferred.
