AI / ML Engineer

Posted on 5 November 2026, this full-time AI/ML Engineer position is based onsite in DHA Phase 8, Lahore. Candidates living nearby will be given preference. The role offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 120,000, depending on experience and expertise. The successful candidate will join a dynamic software house, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of AI-powered software solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and related modern technologies. The engineer will collaborate closely with the development team to integrate AI/ML models into client projects and internal products, ensuring practical and scalable AI implementations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI and Machine Learning solutions tailored to project needs.
- Build and integrate AI-powered features into web and software applications.
- Work extensively with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI APIs.
- Design and deploy AI chatbots and intelligent assistants.
- Prepare data, train models, and conduct thorough testing and evaluation.
- Integrate AI models and APIs seamlessly into existing software products.
- Collaborate effectively with software developers and project teams to meet objectives.
- Research and assess new AI/ML tools, models, and emerging technologies.
- Optimize AI solutions for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing AI/ML implementations to improve outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
- Practical knowledge of working with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
- Familiarity with AI APIs and platforms such as Gemini or similar.
- Solid understanding of data processing, model training, and evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and software integration methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a software development team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Familiarity with vector databases and their applications.
- Hands-on experience developing AI chatbots or AI agents.
- Exposure to cloud-based AI services.
- Working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
- Experience deploying AI/ML models into production environments.

Candidates with a proven track record or strong practical knowledge in AI/ML will be highly regarded. A portfolio or examples of previous AI/ML projects will be an advantage. Strong analytical abilities, eagerness to learn new AI technologies, and effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
