AI Product Engineer – Innovation

We are seeking a hands-on AI Product Engineer who can identify gaps in both local and global technology markets and transform them into practical AI-powered solutions. This role requires a technical generalist with strong logical and analytical thinking skills, capable of validating ideas, building prototypes or MVPs, and collaborating with specialist teams to bring products to production. You will work closely with the leadership team to help shape the AI roadmap and product vision, conducting thorough research and development to ensure each idea is well understood before moving forward. You will take ownership of projects from concept through delivery, serving clients in Pakistan, the region, and globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Research technology and cybersecurity markets locally and globally to uncover unmet needs and high-value opportunities for AI solutions.
- Generate and assess new ideas by understanding their intent and context, testing feasibility, market fit, and technical approach through research and development.
- Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear requirements and product concepts, validating ideas rapidly through proof-of-concept builds.
- Build AI-powered prototypes, MVPs, plugins, workflows, and integrations hands-on using LLM APIs, AI agents, and automation tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and domain experts to evolve validated prototypes into production-quality solutions.
- Define and lead the AI roadmap, prioritizing experimentation and delivery efforts.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and models, recommending adoption strategies.
- Present ideas, findings, and progress clearly to leadership, clients, and technical teams.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in AI, software engineering, product engineering, or related technical fields.
- Proven hands-on experience building and deploying AI products or LLM-powered solutions, from prototype to production.
- Exceptional logical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with a strong research and development mindset and the ability to identify technology market gaps.
- Deep understanding of the local (Pakistan and regional) and global technology landscapes, trends, and customer needs.
- Strong product thinking skills, contributing to decisions on what to build, not just how to build it.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and automation tools such as LangChain.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to executives, clients, and technical teams.
- Strong ownership and initiative, with the ability to quickly learn new AI tools and work independently in ambiguous environments.

- Competitive monthly salary starting from Rs260,000.
