AI Product Engineer (Full Stack)

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Product Engineer (Full Stack) to join a dynamic team focused on building and scaling a production-ready AI-powered web application. This full-time, remote role requires working during U.S. business hours and offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from concept through MVP, production, and scaling. This is a hands-on engineering position where you will collaborate closely with leadership to rapidly deliver, iterate, and improve a cutting-edge AI product integrating large language models (LLMs) such as Claude or similar.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end full-stack product development, including frontend and backend architecture, deployment, and continuous iteration based on user feedback.
- Design and implement AI/LLM integrations that solve real product problems, ensuring reliable interactions, prompt engineering, and safeguards against hallucinations and failure states.
- Build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and data infrastructure using platforms like Supabase or equivalents.
- Implement robust security measures including authentication, user permissions, authorization logic, and data protection to safeguard sensitive information.
- Develop advanced AI agents and automation workflows where applicable, ensuring validation and reliability in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate directly with leadership to translate business objectives into technical solutions, rapidly prototype, ship features frequently, and refine functionality based on production usage.
- Own product quality by diagnosing and resolving bugs, monitoring system performance, reducing technical debt, and enhancing reliability and user experience.

Required Qualifications

- Proven full-stack engineering experience with a strong track record of building and shipping production-level products.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs into real-world applications, with a deep understanding of their practical limitations such as hallucinations, unreliable outputs, context constraints, and failure handling.
- Solid expertise in system architecture, API design, data structures, and application performance optimization.
- Experience working with Supabase or similar backend platforms.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices including authentication, permissions, authorization, and data protection.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently own product development from concept to production.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where product requirements evolve and engineers contribute to solution design rather than just executing tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
