Located in Wapda Town, Lahore, this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers in delivering cutting-edge AI-driven projects. The role requires hands-on involvement in planning, executing, and monitoring AI, machine learning, and generative AI initiatives from inception through deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of AI-focused projects.
- Plan, execute, and oversee AI/ML and generative AI projects, managing all phases from initiation to deployment.
- Provide technical guidance on large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, machine learning, and automation solutions.
- Manage project timelines, sprint planning, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and define project scope.
- Oversee AI model development, API integrations, system architecture design, and production deployments.
- Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot implementation challenges, and maintain high code quality standards.
- Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies, tracking progress using Jira or similar project management tools.
- Identify project risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and uphold engineering best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, project reports, and regular updates for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development, AI/ML, or technical project management roles.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing AI-related projects successfully.
- Strong proficiency in Python, machine learning concepts, LLMs, RAG, LangChain, and AI agents.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with REST API development and AI deployment workflows.
- Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, Jira, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project delivery processes.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical tasks and deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding English communication skills, essential for client meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
