AI Trainer - Audio Speech Recognition (Punjabi)

We are currently seeking language professionals fluent in Punjabi to join us as AI Trainers specializing in Audio Speech Recognition. This freelance, remote role involves carefully listening to audio clips, accurately transcribing spoken conversations, and ensuring transcripts maintain proper spelling, punctuation, and linguistic context. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems’ ability to recognize and interpret human speech, supporting the development of cutting-edge speech recognition technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe spoken Punjabi audio recordings into written text, preserving the original meaning and context.
- Identify and document spoken words, phrases, and sentences with attention to detail.
- Ensure all transcripts comply with specified spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting standards.
- Recognize and adapt to various speech patterns, accents, pronunciation differences, and natural conversational nuances.
- Review transcripts thoroughly to detect and correct missing words, misheard phrases, and other transcription errors.
- Follow project-specific transcription guidelines to maintain consistency and deliver high-quality results.
- Manage challenging audio conditions such as unclear speech, background noise, and overlapping conversations using established procedures.
- Support the ongoing improvement of AI-driven speech recognition and language processing tools through accurate data annotation.

Required Qualifications:
- Native or fluent proficiency in both Punjabi and English.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to accurately comprehend spoken language.
- Excellent command of written language, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- High level of concentration and attention to detail when reviewing audio content.
- Previous experience in audio transcription, speech recognition, data annotation, translation, linguistic evaluation, or quality assurance is highly advantageous.

This position offers a flexible work schedule, requiring availability for 5-6 hours per day over a one-month period, with the possibility of extension. The role is fully remote, providing the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI projects from any location.
