We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team, primarily working on digital marketing and social media projects. This remote position is open to candidates based in Lahore, with a preference for those who can occasionally visit our Gulberg office for interviews, onboarding, meetings, or reviews. The role requires a minimum of two years of professional video editing experience, particularly with social media content such as reels, talking-head videos, promotional clips, and short-form videos. The working hours are from 1 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging videos from scripts, briefs, raw footage, and other source materials.
- Edit various formats including talking-head videos, reels, interviews, and promotional content.
- Incorporate motion graphics, animated text, captions, transitions, overlays, and visual effects.
- Add sound effects, background music, and other audio elements tailored for social media platforms.
- Prepare content optimized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and implement feedback effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Utilize ClickUp for task management, weekly updates, and submissions.
- Conduct research on current trends, visuals, and references to enhance content quality.
- Maintain organized project files and digital assets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant video editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
- Proven experience in editing social media and digital marketing videos.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Express, CapCut, and AI-based video/audio editing tools.
- Skilled in motion graphics, captioning, and sound editing.
- Good understanding of current social media video trends and formats.
- Own a reliable laptop or PC and have a stable internet connection.
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday, 1 PM to 9 PM.
- Lahore-based candidates preferred, with the ability to visit the office when required.
