AI/ML & Data Engineer - Solutions & Business Development

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML and Data Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with clients, understanding their complex requirements, and architecting tailored solutions. This role requires a professional who can confidently present technical proposals, lead discussions, and help convert opportunities into successful projects by bridging the gap between engineering and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and data engineering solutions that meet client needs.
- Work hands-on with technologies such as Python, SQL, machine learning frameworks, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Build solutions leveraging Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), natural language processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Architect and implement data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and other data processing systems.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend appropriate architectures, tools, and technologies.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business and technical challenges, leading technical discovery calls, presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, solution architectures, project scopes, estimates, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Collaborate closely with sales and leadership teams to identify, develop, and close new project opportunities.
- Address technical objections effectively and communicate complex solutions in a clear, business-focused manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and long-term engagements.
- Work alongside engineering and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and successful execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML, data engineering, data science, or related domains.
- Proven hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated experience working on AI/ML and data-driven projects, preferably in client-facing roles.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements, propose effective technical solutions, and contribute to winning and closing projects.
