AM - Finishing (Garments)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager – Finishing to lead and manage garment finishing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that product quality meets customer expectations, production targets are achieved, and orders are completed on schedule. This role requires close coordination with various teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold high standards throughout the finishing process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily garment finishing activities such as thread trimming, pressing, folding, tagging, packing, and final presentation.
- Ensure all garments comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor production targets, workflow efficiency, manpower utilization, and finishing productivity.
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Packing teams to address quality issues and reduce rework.
- Manage timely completion of orders in line with shipment schedules.
- Track defects, wastage, and productivity metrics, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Enforce adherence to company policies, workplace safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in garment finishing operations.
- Strong understanding of garment finishing processes, quality control standards, and packing requirements.
- Excellent leadership abilities with effective communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Proven capability to manage production targets and meet strict shipment deadlines.

Work Location:
This position is based in Metroville, SITE Area, Karachi, and requires in-person attendance.
