The Amazon AWS Instructor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering AWS training programs tailored to professionals and corporate teams, focusing on practical cloud skills applicable in the workplace. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, developing labs and hands-on exercises, conducting live training sessions, and customizing content to accommodate varying skill levels. The instructor will also assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and update training resources to keep pace with evolving AWS services and industry best practices. Collaboration with the broader training team is essential to ensure AWS content aligns with ThriveTechEd’s overall digital skills and productivity training offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive AWS training materials, including slides, labs, and practical exercises.
- Deliver engaging live training sessions to professionals and corporate teams, adapting delivery to different learner needs.
- Assess participant progress and provide timely feedback to support skill development.
- Continuously update training content to reflect the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate AWS training with other digital skills and productivity programs.
- Maintain a practical, workplace-focused approach to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services such as compute, storage, networking, and security, along with cloud architecture best practices.
- Proven experience designing and delivering technical training or workshops for adult learners in corporate or classroom environments.
- Ability to create clear, practical learning materials including real-world scenarios, labs, and exercises.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in an accessible and structured manner.
- Experience working with corporate teams or professional learners, with an understanding of workplace training requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Lahore and collaborate closely with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
