We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Amazon Wholesale Specialist to oversee and expand our Amazon UK wholesale operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in product sourcing, supplier negotiation, brand and distributor outreach, profitability analysis, inventory management, and Amazon Seller Central. This role involves identifying lucrative wholesale opportunities, building strong relationships with UK suppliers and distributors, analyzing market demand and competition, and managing daily wholesale operations to drive sustainable sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify profitable wholesale products tailored for the Amazon UK marketplace.
- Locate and evaluate UK-based brands, authorized distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers.
- Engage with suppliers to negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and trade accounts.
- Conduct thorough product research, analyzing sales potential, demand, competition, and pricing trends.
- Utilize tools such as Keepa, SellerAmp SAS, Helium 10, or similar platforms for product research.
- Calculate profit margins, ROI, break-even prices, Amazon fees, VAT implications, and other relevant costs.
- Assess Buy Box eligibility, competition, sales rank, historical pricing, and product performance before inventory purchases.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers regarding stock availability, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory levels, plan replenishment, and forecast stock requirements.
- Monitor product listings, pricing, sales performance, and account health through Amazon Seller Central.
- Maintain accurate supplier documentation and ensure sourcing practices comply with Amazon policies.
- Track business performance and generate regular reports on sales, profitability, inventory, and sourcing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Amazon wholesale, preferably within the UK marketplace.
- Strong familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and wholesale business models.
- Proven track record in product sourcing and supplier outreach.
- Practical experience using Keepa, SellerAmp SAS, or equivalent research tools.
- Solid understanding of Amazon FBA and FBM operations.
- Good knowledge of Amazon UK fees, VAT considerations, ROI, and profit calculations.
- Ability to evaluate products using historical pricing data, sales rank, competition, and profitability metrics.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet sourcing and business performance targets.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Existing relationships with UK wholesalers, distributors, or brands are highly advantageous.
- Experience in opening wholesale accounts and obtaining valid commercial invoices.
- Background in managing replenishable wholesale products and scaling an Amazon UK business.
