Analyst Software QA Engineer

We are seeking an Analyst Software Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the PMO and Development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Your primary focus will be on thorough testing, identifying issues, and validating software functionality across various platforms. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain both functional and non-functional test cases in alignment with QA best practices.
- Execute test cases on cross-platform applications, including web and mobile, and document any issues using a bug tracking system.
- Write and run queries to validate data integrity using MSSQL, MySQL, and other database platforms.
- Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with an understanding of Agile methodologies considered an advantage.
- Work with QA automation frameworks such as C#, Selenium, and JavaScript to create automated test cases, receiving guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with PMO and Development teams to gain a clear understanding of project requirements and technical architecture.
- Contribute to software security testing efforts, including awareness and mitigation of OWASP vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in QA or software testing.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to apply QA best practices throughout the development process.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts with the ability to write and execute queries.
- Basic familiarity with QA automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with accountability for assigned tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying working hours and project requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
- Eagerness to learn and quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Exposure to Python automation and AI/LLM-based testing techniques is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile teams and familiarity with Agile practices.
