We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our sourcing team as a Sourcing Analytics and Reporting Specialist. This role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive sourcing decisions and improve supplier performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supply chain analytics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Analytics & Reporting:
Design, build, and continuously improve dashboards that track On-Time In-Full (OTIF), order execution, supplier performance, and other key sourcing KPIs. Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management information system (MIS) reports that provide actionable insights for senior management. Convert raw ERP data into structured intelligence to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Order & Delivery Tracking:
Monitor open purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material readiness in alignment with production calendars. Proactively identify risks related to delays or shortages and collaborate with the sourcing team to develop recovery plans.
Supplier Performance Analysis:
Maintain and update vendor scorecards covering OTIF, calendar adherence, quality issues, claims, and responsiveness. Analyze performance trends, identify root causes of recurring issues, and assist in tracking corrective actions to close performance gaps.
Payment & Reconciliation Support:
Coordinate with the Finance department to manage supplier payments, deductions, claims, and reconciliations. Track pending commercial matters and ensure timely resolution through structured follow-ups.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth information flow. Support supplier communications by providing data-backed insights, structured analysis, and timely escalations when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel with exposure to Power BI.
- Proven ability to manage large datasets, develop scalable reporting frameworks, and implement process improvements.
- Excellent analytical thinking, business acumen, and structured problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in sourcing or supply chain analytics.
- Experience in the retail sector is highly desirable.
