Android Developer

Redix is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Android Developer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Kotlin or Java and a genuine passion for mobile app development. This role involves contributing to product-based projects and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance high-quality Android applications.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code using Kotlin or Java.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to ensure seamless mobile experiences.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java programming languages.
- Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile application architecture.
- Experience working with Android UI components, layouts, and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of debugging techniques, performance optimization, and application testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working on published Android applications.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components and modern Android development practices.
- Previous experience in product-based mobile applications is highly desirable.
- The position is full-time, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs70,000.
- The job location is Etihad Town, Lahore, Pakistan, with a preference for candidates who can reliably commute or relocate to Johar Town, Lahore before starting work.
- This is an in-person role, emphasizing collaboration and direct engagement with the development team.
