Android Game Developer

TechNest is seeking a skilled and creative Android Game Developer with 2 to 3 years of professional experience to join our dynamic development team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing and building engaging mobile games, delivering smooth gameplay experiences, and transforming innovative concepts into high-quality Android games. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a market-competitive salary based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain engaging Android mobile games with a focus on quality and user experience.
- Implement smooth gameplay mechanics, animations, user interfaces, and interactive features that enhance player engagement.
- Optimize games for performance, stability, battery consumption, and compatibility across a range of Android devices.
- Integrate Google Play Games Services, AdMob, in-app purchases, analytics, and other third-party SDKs as needed.
- Collaborate closely with designers, fellow developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless game development and delivery.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code to support ongoing development and maintenance.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Unity (C#) or other Android-compatible game engines.
- Proven track record in developing, optimizing, and publishing Android mobile games.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, physics, animations, collision detection, and gameplay programming.
- Experience with both 2D and/or 3D mobile game development.
- Knowledge of Android performance optimization, memory management, FPS stability, and device compatibility.
- Experience integrating Google Play Games Services, AdMob, and in-app purchase systems.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SDK integrations, and version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in the game creation process.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with multiplayer or real-time gaming environments.
- Familiarity with Firebase, leaderboards, achievements, and cloud-based game features.
- Knowledge of shaders, particle systems, and advanced visual effects to enhance game visuals.
