Plutus21 is looking for a skilled Freelance Animator / Motion Designer to bring creative ideas, campaigns, and visual content to life through animation and motion graphics. This remote, project-based role involves working on a variety of upcoming animation projects across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual storytelling and the ability to transform static designs and concepts into engaging animations for social media, websites, presentations, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and short-form visual content.
- Animate graphic designs, illustrations, icons, typography, and brand assets.
- Create animations tailored for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, and presentations.
- Develop engaging transitions, kinetic typography, explainer animations, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and team members to understand creative briefs.
- Develop storyboards and animation concepts when needed.
- Ensure all animations comply with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
- Incorporate feedback and revise work based on project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design, animation, and digital content creation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Animator, Motion Designer, or in a similar role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing animation and motion design work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of timing, movement, transitions, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
- Good knowledge of typography and graphic design fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and accurately interpret creative briefs.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work well within a team environment.
