Animator / Motion Designer

Plutus21 is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Animator / Motion Designer to join our team on a remote, project-based basis. This role involves bringing ideas, campaigns, and visual content to life through animation and motion graphics. Work assignments will be based on upcoming creative and animation projects, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate on diverse digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of visual storytelling and the ability to transform static designs, concepts, and ideas into captivating animations. These animations will be used across social media, websites, presentations, marketing campaigns, and other digital content.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and short-form visual content that align with project goals.
- Animate existing graphic designs, illustrations, icons, typography, and brand assets to enhance visual appeal.
- Develop animations tailored for websites, social media channels, marketing campaigns, presentations, and other digital platforms.
- Produce engaging transitions, kinetic typography, explainer animations, and visual effects that support storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to fully understand creative briefs and project requirements.
- Develop storyboards and animation concepts when necessary to visualize ideas before production.
- Ensure all animations adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual standards.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions promptly to meet project expectations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering quality work within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in motion design, animation, and digital content to keep work fresh and relevant.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience working as an Animator, Motion Designer, or in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing animation and motion design projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of timing, movement, transitions, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
- Good knowledge of typography and graphic design fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently while effectively interpreting and executing creative briefs.
- Strong attention to detail and the capability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote teams.
