We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team and enhance the security posture of our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough code reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks. This role requires close collaboration with development teams to integrate security tools and enforce secure coding standards, ensuring that security is embedded from the earliest stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
- Integrate and manage Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform threat modeling exercises and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to safeguard applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers to enforce secure coding standards based on OWASP Top 10 and CWE guidelines.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and lead remediation efforts to minimize impact.
- Automate security checks to support shift-left security practices, enabling earlier detection of vulnerabilities.
- Deliver training sessions and raise awareness among development teams to promote a security-first mindset.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with secure coding practices in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and C#.
- Hands-on experience with security tools including Burp Suite, Fortify, and Veracode.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Experience working with CI/CD platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins to integrate security testing seamlessly into development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or OSWE are highly desirable and considered a plus.
- The position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs250,000.00.
