Apprentice Software Engineer - Laravel

We are offering a full-time, remote trainee position for a duration of six months. This unpaid opportunity is designed for recent graduates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. The role requires candidates to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Work with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate RESTful APIs and handle data in JSON format.
- Support database management tasks, primarily focusing on MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application performance and security.
- Learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as required by project needs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Undergraduate students or those currently enrolled in academic programs are not eligible.
- Beginner-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
- Fundamental knowledge of relational databases and their management.
- Ability to commit full-time hours during the specified working days and times.
