AR Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing and coding of medical services, managing accounts receivable, and working closely with insurance companies to resolve claims and maximize reimbursements. This role requires strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of medical billing codes, and the ability to lead junior staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The position is in-person with a work schedule from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee accurate billing and coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for all medical services provided.
- Manage outstanding accounts by conducting timely claim follow-ups, addressing denials, and handling unpaid balances.
- Resolve denied claims efficiently by collaborating with insurance companies to ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately to patient accounts to maintain up-to-date records.
- Submit clean claims to insurance providers and monitor their resolution to avoid delays in payment.
- Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to track financial performance and identify issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations and established billing practices to maintain integrity and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor junior billing staff to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Address and resolve billing inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies promptly and professionally.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, as well as claims processing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to solve problems and organize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Availability to work the designated shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Work Location

This position requires in-person attendance at the designated worksite.
