We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing operations, resolving claim issues, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee accurate billing and coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS for medical services provided.
- Manage outstanding accounts by following up on claims, addressing denials, and handling unpaid balances.
- Resolve denied claims by collaborating with insurance companies to maximize reimbursement.
- Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately to patient accounts.
- Submit clean claims to insurance providers and monitor their resolution status.
- Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to track financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing best practices at all times.
- Lead and mentor junior billing staff to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- Address and resolve billing inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year experience in medical billing and accounts receivable, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, as well as claims processing procedures.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage complex billing issues.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Availability to work evening shifts from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.

Work Location

This position requires in-person attendance at the designated worksite.
