AR Executive/ Medical Billing

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive to join our medical billing team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of medical billing processes and procedures, combined with strong analytical and communication skills. This role involves managing various accounts receivable functions such as billing, collections, and resolving outstanding claims to ensure timely and accurate payment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing data and invoices, ensuring compliance with billing and coding regulations.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances to secure timely payments.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to address billing issues and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of billing and collections activities, including payment postings and adjustments.
- Generate aging reports and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with departments such as coding and revenue cycle management to streamline billing processes and improve collections efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and billing procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in medical billing and accounts receivable management.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing codes, insurance claim procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office applications.
