Meds Nexus is looking for a detail-oriented AR Executive to join our team in Rawalpindi. This is an on-site position requiring work during the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The primary focus of this role is to protect healthcare revenue streams for U.S. clients by investigating unpaid claims, overturning wrongful denials, and speeding up reimbursement cycles. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. medical billing and accounts receivable management, strong technical abilities, and a dedication to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical claims to ensure data accuracy and resolve any missing information before submission.
- Perform structured follow-ups on outstanding or delayed insurance receivables using portals, phone communication, and payer systems.
- Audit payments against contract terms to identify and correct pricing discrepancies.
- Manage the entire denial process, including drafting formal appeals and handling secondary claims.
- Address telephone inquiries from patients and insurance representatives regarding billing histories.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for every account action and prepare recurring accounts receivable status reports using MS Excel.
- Communicate transparently with management about collection targets and progress.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in U.S. medical billing, accounts receivable, and structured denial management.
- Proficiency with software such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Practice Fusion, EncoderPro, and various insurance carrier portals.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel reporting and efficient digital navigation.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance compliance, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and prior authorization processes.
- Fluent English communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
