The Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and creating 3D visualizations. They will refine designs based on client feedback and project requirements, ensuring that the design intent is maintained throughout the construction phase. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers and site teams, producing technical documentation, conducting site visits, supporting material selection, and detailing. The role requires collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural design concepts for interior, exterior, and landscape projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, technical documentation, and 3D visualizations.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and contractors to maintain design intent during construction.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
- Support material selection and detailing processes with attention to functionality and aesthetics.
- Manage project workflows to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders, presenting design ideas clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in architectural design and space planning across various project types.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit, along with 3D visualization tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar.
- Experience in preparing construction drawings and technical details compliant with local building codes and standards.
- Ability to manage project coordination and supervision from concept through construction.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and building systems with a focus on sustainability and functionality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of presenting designs to clients and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent from a recognized institution. Professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
- Prior experience working in architectural firms or on built projects, preferably with familiarity in Pakistan or the surrounding region.
