Architect - QA

We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Architect with 7 to 10 years of expertise in ETL testing, data quality validation, and large-scale data processing. The role involves validating data movement between source and target systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Spark, Hive, Snowflake, and data migration testing. This position is based in Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, or Bengaluru and offers the opportunity to work with innovative software engineering teams focused on the P&C insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ETL testing on large datasets, ensuring thorough validation between source and target systems.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to verify data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and databases.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and maintain data quality standards.
- Document test plans, results, and data quality issues; communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Recommend and implement improvements to data quality processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Automate data validation and testing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of technical experience in ETL testing, including developing test plans and validating large-scale data migrations.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and expertise in SQL, Spark, Hive, and data migration testing.
- Advanced skills in SQL query writing and hands-on experience with Hive, Spark SQL, and the DataFrame API.
- Experience working with Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with data quality automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
