Architectural Drafter

Weaves Corporation is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our Visual Design team in Karachi, specializing in architectural and interior design. In this role, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise, construction-ready drawings that support projects from design development through execution. You will collaborate closely with the construction team and external consultants to address technical requirements and ensure smooth project delivery, contributing to the evolution of our retail store environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed architectural and interior CAD drawings for construction projects.
- Update drawings to incorporate revisions requested by architects and project managers.
- Coordinate with structural and MEP teams to ensure all design elements are accurately integrated.
- Liaise regularly with the construction team to resolve technical and drawing-related issues promptly.
- Work with external consultants, including lighting and design specialists, to align project requirements.
- Ensure all layouts comply with local building authority regulations and standards.
- Integrate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) details into drawings and project documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and verify the accuracy of as-built drawings provided by the Real Estate team.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on drafting experience in architectural or interior design projects.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential; knowledge of SketchUp and Revit is advantageous.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and confidently.
- A genuine curiosity about design and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of materials and their practical applications in construction.
