Architectural Draftsman

DBL — Design Build Live is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 10 years of experience in architectural drafting, construction documentation, and technical detailing. This role requires someone who can accurately translate design concepts into precise, construction-ready drawings while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A strong command of AutoCAD is essential, with additional proficiency in Revit, BIM, and SketchUp considered a plus. The position is full-time and based at our office in Rawalpindi.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Develop site plans, setting-out plans, door and window schedules, and comprehensive construction documentation.
- Convert architectural concepts, sketches, and design markups into accurate technical drawings.
- Produce detailed drawings for facades, staircases, roofs, partitions, and other architectural elements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure consistency.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, levels, materials, specifications, and construction feasibility.
- Incorporate site measurements, design revisions, and consultant feedback into final working drawings.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site execution teams.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to verify dimensions and existing conditions.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and organized project documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, applicable building regulations, and meet delivery deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of professional experience in architectural drafting and construction documentation.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural detailing.
- Excellent understanding of building construction methods, materials, and technical specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction documentation standards and relevant building regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating efficiently with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Proficiency in Revit / BIM and SketchUp is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop is advantageous.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000.
