We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take ownership of the end-to-end performance of a cluster of dark stores within a designated area. This role focuses on driving order fulfillment speed, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining inventory accuracy, all aligned with network-wide KPI targets. The successful candidate will act as the operational bridge between store-level teams and commercial and supply chain departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all dark stores within the assigned cluster, including both Mart and Franchise formats, ensuring that performance is consistently monitored and measured against established KPIs.
- Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the cluster by controlling operating costs, minimizing inventory holding, and reducing wastage.
- Drive Order Fulfillment Time (OFT) performance to ensure a superior customer experience.
- Ensure order accuracy and completion by implementing staff training programs and enforcing compliance with picking and packing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage inventory health by ensuring store managers strictly adhere to inventory principles such as FEFO/FIFO, expiry management, and damage control.
- Guarantee that all stores comply with hygiene, food safety, and operational SOPs in accordance with company policies.
- Lead, train, and motivate Store Managers and floor staff across the cluster to meet and exceed performance standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews based on store-level KPI scorecards, providing specific, data-driven feedback.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and disciplinary actions across all stores within the cluster.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards across all locations.
- Conduct regular store audits focusing on safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, while maintaining accurate audit and compliance records.
- Oversee fire safety and emergency procedures, ensuring documentation is up to date and staff are properly trained.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in operations, preferably within quick commerce, dark stores, cloud kitchens, or retail/QSR chains.
- Proven experience managing multiple locations, cross-functional teams, and a mix of Direct and Franchise stores or mixed-format networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of quick commerce fulfillment metrics such as Order Fulfillment Time (OFT), net Sales per Fulfillment Resource (nSFR), and shrinkage is highly desirable.
