The Area Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Sialkot. This role involves overseeing sales operations and managing dealer networks within the designated territory. The Area Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and driving growth by actively engaging with farmers and dealers. Daily tasks include promoting fertilizer and pesticide products, maintaining strong relationships, and providing basic technical guidance on product usage. The role also requires planning and implementing area-specific sales strategies, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and preparing regular performance reports. Collaboration with the sales team and management is essential to support promotional campaigns, resolve customer concerns, and uphold a strong brand presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales operations and dealer networks within the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Visit farmers and dealers regularly to promote products and provide technical guidance on their application.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the area’s market conditions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support promotional activities and address customer issues promptly.
- Maintain a strong brand presence and foster long-term relationships with customers and dealers.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in area sales management, preferably within fertilizers, pesticides, or related agricultural products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with farmers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute sales activities across a territory while meeting defined targets.
- Basic understanding of agricultural practices with a willingness to learn technical product knowledge.
- Proficiency in preparing reports, using basic computer applications, and maintaining accurate sales records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant field experience will also be considered.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and work independently with minimal supervision.
- High integrity, a results-driven approach, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
