Area Sales Officer (ASO) – Medical Devices

We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Area Sales Officer (ASO) to join our client’s sales team based in Karachi. This role focuses on field sales, territory development, customer relationship management, and consistently achieving sales targets within the medical devices sector. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work independently in the field, and skilled at building strong customer connections.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, dealers, distributors, and other healthcare customers.
- Develop and manage the assigned territory to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the healthcare sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Promote and demonstrate medical device products, effectively communicating their features and benefits.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, payments, and complaints to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements to stay competitive.
- Identify potential new customers and emerging market opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, and orders for reporting purposes.
- Prepare regular sales and market activity reports to update management on progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales is mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Willingness and ability to perform outdoor/field sales activities across Karachi.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel frequently for fieldwork is preferred.
