Key Responsibilities
The Article Trainee will be engaged full-time on-site in Karachi, supporting the accounting, finance, and internal audit departments. Responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing working papers, reconciling accounts, and compiling financial reports in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The trainee will collect and analyze financial data to help ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as is participation in periodic audits and contributing to process improvements within the energy portfolio. This role offers structured professional training and exposure to power sector operations under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and prepare basic reports. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, is essential, alongside comfort in using accounting or ERP software. Effective written and verbal communication skills are required to draft clear documentation and engage with internal stakeholders. Candidates should exhibit good organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks under supervision.
