HireTrack, a global talent acquisition consulting firm, is seeking skilled AI Engineers to join their remote contract team. The role focuses on building and integrating AI solutions into real-world business systems, emphasizing production-ready implementations rather than prototypes. Candidates will work on AI integration, workflow automation, CRM automation, and advanced agentic AI development. This opportunity is open to individual developers and small teams worldwide with 2 to 8 years of experience in AI and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate AI technologies into existing business applications, websites, and internal tools.
- Develop workflow automation using platforms such as n8n, Make, and Zapier.
- Implement CRM integrations and automation for systems including HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Zoho, and Pipedrive.
- Design and deploy agentic AI systems and multi-step AI workflows.
- Build AI voice agents and conversational AI solutions.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and knowledge-base solutions leveraging company data.
- Work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrate various AI tools.
- Automate business processes across communication platforms like email, WhatsApp, Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion.
- Create and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and backend services to support AI features.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and open-source models like Llama, Mistral, and DeepSeek.
- Experience with automation platforms, with a strong preference for n8n, as well as Make and Zapier.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, and Vercel AI SDK.
- Knowledge of RAG and vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, and pgvector.
- Skills in prompt engineering, including structured outputs and function/tool calling.
- Programming expertise in Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience with APIs and integrations using REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and OAuth.
- Working knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, Supabase, MongoDB, and Firebase.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Development experience with MCP servers.
- Voice AI technologies such as Vapi, Retell AI, ElevenLabs, and Twilio.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot.
- Skills in LLM evaluation, monitoring, and cost optimization tools such as LangSmith and Langfuse.
- Experience with computer-use and browser automation agents.
- Exposure to multimodal AI, including vision, document processing, and OCR.
- Knowledge of fine-tuning and deployment of open-source AI models.
- Cloud and DevOps skills involving Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
- .NET development experience is a plus.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours. Candidates must be able to provide at least four hours of daily overlap with one of the following time zones: North America (EST or PST), Europe (GMT/UK or CET), Middle East (GST), or Australia (AEST).
