Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Innovador Solutions Pvt Ltd., based in Progressive Center Karachi, Shahra-e-Faisal, is seeking a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join their on-site, full-time team. This role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 60,000 to PKR 150,000, with a work schedule from Monday to Saturday. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing OBrain 2.0, the advanced AI assistant embedded within OSquare, Innovador’s flagship AI-powered business platform that integrates HR, CRM, accounts, projects, assets, forms, fees, and education management into eleven seamless modules.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of OBrain 2.0, including retrieval systems, large language model (LLM) integration, and APIs connecting to OSquare’s various modules.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enable OBrain to respond accurately using each customer’s unique business data while maintaining data separation.
- Create natural language processing features that convert user questions and commands into actionable queries, reports, and tasks, supporting English, Urdu, and Arabic languages.
- Develop AI agents and automation workflows that perform tasks across modules, incorporating human approval where necessary.
- Build document processing capabilities to extract and organize key information from invoices, contracts, and applications.
- Develop predictive analytics and anomaly detection features to identify risks such as customer churn, attendance irregularities, and project budget overruns.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of AI features to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and actively participate in code reviews.

Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with LLM applications, including working with APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Llama.
- Practical knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and vector databases through professional work or substantial personal projects.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in Python programming.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including API development, database management, and version control using Git.
- Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts and experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an on-site team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience developing AI agents or implementing tool-calling features.
- Background in integrating AI solutions into ERP, CRM, HRMS, or similar business software platforms.
- NLP expertise in Urdu or Arabic languages.
- Familiarity with document AI technologies or optical character recognition (OCR).
- Experience deploying applications using Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing AI projects is highly desirable.
