We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and committed Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the preparation of various financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tax preparation and filing processes is preferred.
