KIA Sports City, an authorized KIA 3S dealership located in Sialkot, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their team. The dealership offers new and used KIA vehicles, genuine parts, and expert service from certified technicians. The dealership is conveniently situated on 3.5 KM Daska Road near Dak Wala Stop, serving as a comprehensive hub for vehicle sales and service appointments.
The Assistant Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily financial operations of the dealership. This full-time, on-site position involves managing accounting transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. The role also includes preparing vouchers and invoices, updating customer and vendor records, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, the Assistant Accountant will support monthly closing activities and help generate basic financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Post daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts regularly.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, and update customer and vendor records.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support monthly financial closing and basic reporting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation for audit readiness.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams regarding billing and collections.
- Assist the senior accountant during audits and other finance-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with finance, sales, and service departments.
- Well-developed organizational skills for maintaining clear and auditable records.
- Ability to work full-time on-site with reliability and professionalism in a customer-focused environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
