Taj Group of Petroleum Service (TGPS) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance professional to join its Corporate Office as Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance. This role offers a unique opportunity for a finance expert to take ownership of accounting operations, enhance financial controls, contribute to business reporting, and gain broad exposure across a diversified portfolio that includes retail and allied businesses such as Marts, Kulfi Points, food outlets, and other ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
You will report directly to the Head of Accounts & Finance and act as a senior resource within the department. Your primary duties include overseeing accounting and financial activities across TGPS’s various business segments, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to strong internal controls and regulatory compliance. You will support efficient financial operations and assist in financial planning, analysis, coordination, and overall financial management. Your contributions will be critical to sound financial decision-making and supporting the group’s growth and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in Accounts & Finance is essential, preferably with exposure to retail, FMCG, food, petroleum, or multi-business environments. A strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls is required. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting or ERP systems is necessary. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills are expected, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, ownership, and confidentiality. A proactive mindset to identify issues and drive timely resolutions is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
