Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance

EMS High School, Islamabad, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to support its financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist in budgeting, financial planning, and provide valuable insights to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and budget summaries.
- Monitor cash flows, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee financial transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and expenditure control.
- Oversee payroll records, tax deductions, and ensure statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation in line with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, banks, and relevant authorities.
- Support management with financial analysis, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Finalist), ACCA, ICMA/CMA, or equivalent.
- Candidates with an MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance. Experience within an educational institution is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, ERP systems, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, integrity, time management, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working in the education sector will be considered a plus.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs150,000.
- The position requires working on-site at the school’s location in Islamabad.
