Wield Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager – Chemical to join our team in Rawalpindi. This role focuses on managing chemical-related inquiries, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating procurement activities for projects involving defence and government organizations. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure accurate tender preparation, BOQs, and timely delivery of chemical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial tenders in response to chemical-related inquiries.
- Review client requirements, technical specifications, and procurement documents thoroughly.
- Inspect and evaluate required chemicals and prepare precise Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Coordinate with engineers and technical representatives from defence and government organizations to understand their needs.
- Identify appropriate chemical products and liaise with suppliers and OEMs for quotations, specifications, availability, and compliance.
- Manage the procurement process from inquiry and quotation through delivery and documentation.
- Maintain technical correspondence, BOQs, quotations, product specifications, and procurement records accurately.
- Collaborate internally with procurement and management teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Support market research efforts to identify new chemical products, suppliers, and procurement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of chemical products, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with clients, engineers, suppliers, and government entities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into clear procurement and tender documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
