Wield Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager – Chemical to join our team. This role focuses on managing chemical-related inquiries, preparing technical documentation, handling tender submissions, creating Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and coordinating procurement activities for projects primarily involving defence and government organizations. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial tenders in response to chemical-related inquiries.
- Review client requirements, technical specifications, and procurement documents to ensure compliance.
- Inspect and evaluate required chemicals, preparing accurate BOQs.
- Coordinate with engineers and technical representatives from defence and government organizations to understand their needs.
- Identify suitable chemical products and liaise with suppliers and OEMs for quotations, specifications, availability, and compliance.
- Manage the procurement process from inquiry and quotation through to delivery and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain technical correspondence, BOQs, quotations, product specifications, and procurement records.
- Collaborate internally with procurement and management teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Support market research efforts to identify new chemical products, suppliers, and procurement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of chemical products, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to effectively interact with clients, engineers, suppliers, and government/defence organizations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into clear procurement and tender documentation.
- High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
