Kamal Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Compliance-Traceability to join its Knits Apparel Division located in Sahianwala, Faisalabad. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in traceability systems, compliance requirements, audits, corrective actions, and production documentation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing traceability processes that track materials, production stages, finished products, and related documentation throughout the manufacturing cycle. This position requires coordination with various teams to support internal, customer, and compliance audits, ensuring all necessary records and evidence are available and accurate. The role also involves addressing audit findings through corrective and preventive actions, conducting training sessions, and assisting with root-cause analysis of recurring issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate Traceability Audits: Manage and support internal, customer, and compliance audits related to traceability by preparing documentation, coordinating with departments, and assisting auditors during reviews. Strong planning and communication skills are essential to gather information from multiple operational areas.

- Maintain Traceability Systems and Procedures: Ensure effective traceability systems are in place and followed across production and operational processes. This includes verifying that established procedures remain functional and compliant.

- Monitor Traceability Records: Regularly review traceability records to guarantee complete and accurate tracking of materials, production processes, products, documentation, and operational records. Identify and address any gaps that could impact audit outcomes or investigations.

- Follow Up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA): Track the implementation and effectiveness of corrective measures arising from audit findings, ensuring that issues are resolved beyond just documentation.

- Prepare Audit Evidence and Documentation: Ensure timely availability of required records, reports, samples, and supporting evidence during audits. Effective document management and organization are critical.

- Conduct Traceability Training: Organize and deliver training sessions for internal teams to enhance understanding of traceability requirements and compliance procedures, requiring strong communication and presentation skills.

- Support Root-Cause Analysis: Assist in identifying underlying causes of recurring traceability problems and audit non-conformities, collaborating with teams to develop appropriate corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Textile, or a related field.

- 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in traceability, compliance, audits, or related functions within the apparel or manufacturing industry.

- Hands-on experience managing audit portals, including uploading documentation, maintaining compliance records, responding to audit requirements, tracking corrective actions, and coordinating portal activities.

- Proven ability to manage detailed documentation, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support audit and compliance processes effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work across departments and with auditors.

- Experience in root-cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.

- Ability to conduct training and present compliance requirements clearly to diverse teams.
